Acute Bronchitis and Pneumonia
Bronchitis: inflammation of the mucous membrane of the bronchi.
It is the result of humoral fouling, of intoxication by digestive overload.
Pneumonia: acute inflammation of the lung and presence of a fibrinous exudate filling the pulmonary alveoli. This infectious disease is caused by lanceolate pneumococcus (Streptococcus pneumoniæ).
