Aesthetic Cellulite -

It is a mass of fat cells whose storage capacities are saturated. These cells block the circulation of liquids, notably lymph, which prevents the transport and evacuation of toxins, which then accumulate and create inflammation and swelling in the areas concerned.

Following this inflammatory phenomenon, the skin loses its elasticity and then takes on the characteristic orange peel appearance.

What we see on the outside is a reflection of internal disorders…

There are three types of cellulite :

 • aqueous, also called infiltrated: soft to the touch, located on the arms, thighs, calves and ankles. Heavy legs, water retention. Often associated with venous return problems and/or hormonal imbalance,
 • adipose: clusters of fat cells, supple and soft to the touch, mainly located at the level of the hips and saddlebags. Due to a high GI diet and a lack of physical activity,
 • fibrous: hard to the touch, painful when pinching. Collagen loses its elasticity. It is often generated by glycation phenomena.
