Complete absence of the estrous cycle.

Absence or cessation of periods, essentially depends on hormonal secretions conditioned by the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and ovaries

Causes: psychological, traumatic environment (refusal of femininity), uterine infections, nutritional insufficiency, pregnancy, breastfeeding, tuberculosis, anemia, diabetes, neuroendocrine disorders (myxedema, Graves', Addison's, Cushing's diseases, acromegaly, etc.) or even vertebral blockage of the sacrum.
