Bruising

Spot sometimes (and/or successively) black, purple, brown or yellowish on the skin which results from the infiltration of the cellular tissue by a certain quantity of blood following a shock. It can appear on the skin, mucous membranes or serosa, with or without tearing of the integuments.

Ecchymosis at the slightest contact: capillary fragility

Spontaneous ecchymosis: purpura (skin hemorrhage)

Ecchymosis by blow, shock: contusion
