Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)
Viral pathology also called chronic Epstein-Barr (E.B.) viremia. Persistent chronic fatigue and signs of depression are the major symptoms, accompanied by 4 other symptoms: swollen lymph nodes in the neck and armpits, constant low-grade fever, inability to resist the cold, difficulty sleeping, poor memory, difficulty concentrating, unexplained muscle pain, stomach cramps, unusual headaches, sore throat, nausea and blurred vision. The Epstein-Barr virus belongs to the herpesvirus group but several types of infection can present the syndrome (following mononucleosis, for example: it selectively attacks B lymphocytes).
The American researcher Dr William Campbell-Douglas hypothesizes that it is a hidden form of poliomyelitis.

Six months of medication are necessary to obtain a lasting result. Fatigue persists indefinitely if the causative factors are not removed.
