Cough

Sudden and noisy forced expiration following short breathing, most often due to irritation of the vagus.

dry: in pleural affections. Dry cough is an irritant cough

fatty: in bronchitis conditions. Wet cough is an overload cough (avoid cough suppressant syrups)

sick: in whooping cough

Search for the cause: Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI)? Chest infection? Emphysema? Lungs affected? Common cold?

Grog anti-cough: 1 drop E.O. of pine, 1 drop E.O. of eucalyptus, 1 drop E.O. of orange tree, 1 tsp of thyme honey, juice of 1 lemon, 1 tbsp. hot water. Stir and drink hot.

Syrup of grated turnip(Brassica rapa) or leek, horseradish(Raphanus rusticanus) macerated overnight with honey, then squeezed (1 tbsp. every hour)

Cabbage, lettuce, turnip, black radish, almond, quince(Cydonia vulgaris)

Natural vitamin C and propolis

Balsam fir gum (Canada balsam)

Respir’caps (Superdiet), 2 caps. X 2 / day, with meals - Breathe Free (Trace Minerals), 3 tabs. morning and evening

Bacterola (Superdiet), 3 caps. during each meal

Drosinula (Bioforce), 1 tbsp every 3 hours in cases of phlegmatic cough

Eliminate milk, fermented sugars, nutritional yeast, cooked or heated fats

Gargle (with the addition of drops of E.O. Eucalyptus)

Propolis sprays in the throat

Natural silk scarf around the throat (day and night)

Ground flaxseed poultice

Use of depolluting plants in habitats and living spaces (see chapter Miscellaneous)
