Crohn's disease

Regional or terminal ileitis. Ulceration of the small intestine and especially of the last part, the ileum. When the disease becomes chronic, there is an alternation of constipation and persistent, even bloody, diarrhea with suppuration (phlegm and pus), abdominal pain, weight loss.

The large intestine (colon), or even the rectum, can also be affected and can sometimes present a fistula.
