Amblyopia: reduction in visual acuity
Asthenopia: fatigue of the eyes, inability to sustain visual effort
Cataract: opacity of the lens or its capsule and progressing towards partial or total blindness
Glaucoma: obstruction of the Schlemm canal by clogging or mechanical bending. Condition characterized by increased intraocular pressure, atrophy of the membranes of the eye and excavation of the optic nerve.
