Flu
Pathology of viral origin, contagious, evolving through epidemic outbreaks. Starts with chills, headaches, pain, fatigue, fever at 40° C then respiratory symptoms appear: runny nose, pharyngitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, feverish aches...
Do not confuse with a cold.
The flu occurs in 4 phases:
1- Incubation (silent stage): lasting 1 to 3 days, without symptoms, but highly contagious
2- Very sudden onset: with a set of characteristic symptoms: chills, aches, headaches, sudden rise in temperature to 39-40° C, general malaise
3- Condition: lasting 2 to 5 days after which the fever drops before suddenly rising again. This is the famous V flu
4- Convalescence: with disappearance of symptoms and fever, but persistence of marked asthenia for several weeks
