Leukorrhea - Vaginal Discharge
Non-bloody whitish or greenish-yellow mucous or muco-purulent discharge from the vulva generally due to a microbial, parasitic, mycotic infection or resulting from gonorrhea - Not to be confused with abundant physiological but not pathological discharge from the female genital tract such as hypersecretion of cervical mucus at the time of ovulation.
Leucorrhea in young girls is often associated with chloro-anemia (a variety of iron deficiency anemia in young girls).
Risk of infertility in the event of prolonged leukorrhea.
