Prolapse - Ptosis
Fall or collapse of an organ or part of an organ following release of its means of fixation. We can encounter a prolapse of the bladder, uterus, stomach, breast, rectum… The “drops” can affect various organs: eyelids, chin, breasts, stomach, intestine, uterus, rectum… and are always a sign of a loss of organ tone and often hide advanced organic aging
Cystocele: descent of the bladder onto the vagina
Hysterocele: abnormal drop of the uterus into the small pelvis
Rectocele: relaxation of the position of the rectum which lowers onto the vagina
Mammary ptosis: sagging of the breasts
Proctoptosis: prolapse of the rectum which occurs due to the efforts of defecation in the bronchitis
Female genital prolapse (uterus, vaginal): this is atony of the musculature of the perineum
