Prostatism (Hbp)

Adenoma: enlargement, benign prostate tumor or fibroadenoma (increased frequency of urination). The prostate puts pressure on the urethra and blocks the passage of urine. - Prostatitis: inflammation of the prostate. - BPH: benign enlargement of the prostate.

The usual symptoms: difficulty urinating, less vigorous and interrupted jet, nocturnal erections, painful ejaculations, accompanied by lower back pain, fevers, chills.

Prostatorrhea: discharge from the penis, apart from ejaculation, of a mucous fluid. This symptom is observed in chronic prostatitis

PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen): Prostate Specific Antigen (ASP)

ERD (Digital Rectal Examination) : evaluation of the volume of the gland located under the bladder, opposite the rectum by manual examination.

Men with the index finger is longer than the ring finger have an 87% lower risk of being affected by prostate cancer (the growth of the index finger and the risk of developing this cancer would both depend on the rate of exposure to testosterone during intrauterine development) - Science et Vie February 2011
