Puberty
Transition from childhood to adolescence, a period characterized by a significant transformation of the body (menstruation in girls, sperm production in boys).
An adolescent is more of a child in transition rather than a young adult.
Puberty is conditioned by the proper functioning of the endocrine glands, in particular by hormones pituitary-genital.
The personality asserts itself in an environment where there are (generally) rules and discipline. The puberty period requires:
- intelligent support to experience the physical and psychological change in harmony, but also
- a balanced non-dogmatic diet for pubertal transformation.
