Urine Incontinence
Involuntary emission of urine which flows drop by drop, as renal secretion progresses. When it is nocturnal and unconscious, it is called “enuresis”
In adults, we often notice a magnesium deficiency in the event of an inability to retain urine:
At 30 years old, 1 in 6 women are affected, at 60 years old, 1 in 2 women are affected, 1 in 10 men are affected.
Determining causes:
- Weak urethral sphincter (episiotomy, postpartum)
- Urinary tract infection, prostatitis
- Bladder lithiasis
- Stress incontinence <i>(stress incontinence)</i>: coughing, sneezing and physical exertion can cause involuntary urination
- Overflow, drip, caused incontinence generally by obstructing prostatic adenoma
Certain neurological diseases (MS, stroke, Parkinson’s, etc.) can be causes of incontinence
