Cystitis

Inflammation of the bladder, with pain when urinating - If poorly treated, cystitis can spread to the kidneys (pyelonephritis)

Symptoms: pain when urinating - Too frequent urge to urinate (called pollakiuria) - Cloudy urine

Causes to assess: insufficient hydration, urinary tract infections, cold, sexual trauma, contamination by soiled fingers, germs from the stools, urinary stones, tumor (polyp), compression (pregnancy), edema of the prostate, digestive disorders (diarrhea or constipation), clothing that is too tight, insufficient personal hygiene or on the contrary too intense and “stripping”.

15% of cystitis is of psychological origin: conflict.

Acute cystitis: congestive state or bacillary infection

Chronic cystitis : poorly cured acute cystitis

Purulent cystitis: common bacterium coli (Escherichia coli) or enterococcus are often the cause

Interstitial cystitis: chronic inflammation of the mucous membranes of the urinary system which leads to degradation of the bladder wall

Cystitis microbial: urinary infection
