Food Allergies and Intolerances

•   Food allergy: reaction of the immune system which recognizes an allergen contained in a food and fights it.

•   Intolerance: difficulty digesting a substance contained in a food (gluten, lactose for example). It is either an enzymatic deficiency or a hypersensitivity to certain products which causes digestive disorders. Requires a diet withoutgluten, lactose, (...any offending substance).

The most common anaphylactic phenomena are: hives, eczema, diarrhea, vomiting, migraine, various edemas, asthma, nausea, itching, redness, hay fever, abdominal pain.

Allergies are generally a sign of a sluggish intestine and porous, due to a lack of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA). The porosity of the intestinal wall leads to the introduction of agents from the external environment and causes the production of antibodies.
